When made of cedar, it doesn’t require much effort to maintain -; it’ll weather to a unique patina that doesn’t require painting. Of course, all wood will eventually rot away. That’s probably why it is a very uncommon type of siding in this day and age. Even so, if you want something really unique, this is the type that will set your house apart from all the rest.
