Black mold is dangerous to people and pets and is hard to get rid of. Black mold removal in South Jersey normally requires the use of strong cleansers such as vinegar or bleach. There are a number of products available that have been formulated to kill black mold but common household bleach or a mixture of white vinegar and water is quite effective and certainly less expensive. When using either bleach or vinegar a mixture of one part agent and ten parts water will suffice. If all the black mold is not eliminated it will simply reoccur, it is very important that you get it all the first time. If you have spotted mold in your carpet, renting a carpet cleaning machine will not do the job as it does not kill the spores and no matter how good the machine is; it will never pull all the spores from the carpet. Cleaning the carpet will no doubt make it look and small better but if there is someone in the home who is allergic to black mold, the carpet cleaning will not provide much in the way the relief for them. If your carpet was soaked during a flood, you may be better off throwing it away.
